Number 9, your final hole and a par four, has a blind tee shot
that must be aimed well to the left of center. There is
OB on the right as the county highway tends to come up pretty
quick. Many a shot has been struck from the tee thought
to be in the center of the fairway only to have the player
trudge back to re-hit one the errant shot has been located on
the road. The hole measures 412/395/307 yards and is the
longest par four on the course.
The putting surface is slightly raised from the chipping area
and breaks from right to left as seen from the fairway; and
the breaks on this, the final hole, are not to be taken
lightly. The shortest putts must be struck with
confidence as one would be hard pressed to find a perfectly
straight putt.
Once the orb is holed, take a few minutes to visit the
clubhouse and take advantage of the fine food and
refreshments. And don't forget to come back to visit us
again.
